Breast and Ovarian Cancer

If you are a woman with a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, you may be more likely to get these cancers yourself. Genetic mutations in genes such as BRCA1 or BRCA2 increase your risk for breast and ovarian cancer.

CA125

A CA-125 blood test can be used as part of an overall approach to monitoring ovarian and other cancers. It’s used as a screening tool for people at very high risk for ovarian cancer.

Autoimmune Disease

Autoimmune disease happens when the body’s natural defense system can’t tell the difference between your own cells and foreign cells, causing the body to mistakenly attack normal cells. Common autoimmune diseases in women include rheumatoid arthritis, thyroid disease, lupus, type 1 diabetes and many more.

Heart Disease

Cardiovascular disease (often called heart disease) is an umbrella term that includes many different conditions. These include cardiomyopathies, arrhythmias and more.

Mental Health

Women’s mental health is an important element in one’s overall well-being and contentedness, as it maintains cognitive alternates, emotional sanity, and balance of ourselves, lives, and relationships.
